Many young people live in temporary accommodation due to the difficulties of saving enough money to afford their own homes. Fat Macy’s is a social enterprise which tries to break this vicious circle through its catering and food delivery services. The project invites young people to train with its team of chefs. They obtain the skills they need to find a job and through a grant scheme the company provides them with an initial housing deposit for their own home.
