Princess of Girona Foundation

A BENCHMARK IN SPAIN THAT WORKS AT THE SERVICE OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ALL THOSE ASPECTS WHICH ARE CRITICAL TO THEIR FUTURE.

The Princess of Girona Foundation (FPdGi) is a private foundation, established by civil society in Girona in 2009, promoted by nearly 90 top-level patrons, of which His Majesty the King, Felipe VI, is the honorary president representing his daughter Princess Leonor.

It aspires to be a benchmark at the state level in supporting young people in their professional and personal development, with a particular emphasis on detecting talented young people who act as today’s role models for other young people, as well as programs to improve employability and the educational transformation of young teachers.


OBJECTIVES

The objective of the Foundation is to work at the service of young people in all those aspects which are critical to their future.

COMMITMENT

The Princess of Girona Foundation is dedicated to three main areas of action:

TALENT
Detecting talented young people to act as today’s role models for other young people (FPdGi Awards).

EMPLOYMENT
Supporting programs to improve employment (“Talent rescuers”).

INNOVATION
Promoting educational transformation, training young teachers (“Educate entrepreneurial talent” program).
