Family Business Institute

A BENCHMARK IN THE BUSINESS WORLD THAT DEFENDS THE INTERESTS OF FAMILY BUSINESSES.

IEF is a national non-profit organization created in 1992 that comprises the leading family businesses from different sectors.

It has established itself as a benchmark for family businesses and through its activities it transmits the importance of this type of company as a source of wealth and employment. As part of its training activity, it organizes workshops, conferences and courses with the participation of institutions, family entrepreneurs and experts.


OBJECTIVES

The Institute defends the interests of the family business, identifies best practices in corporate governance and management, and ensures the continuity and training of future generations.

COMMITMENT

The Institute has established itself as a benchmark for family businesses and through its activities it transmits the importance of this type of company as a source of wealth and employment.

The Chair of Family Business at the University of Barcelona, with which the Puig Foundation collaborates, was the first of its kind created in 1998, and forms part of this network of chairs whose activities are coordinated by the Institute.
